Gaining working experience while you work on a better future for children in war affected areas. You can at War Child. War Child offers six to ten month internships under professional guidance. These internships are for a minimum of four days a week, so can truly get a hang of things. Of course you’re in close contact with the field. Through email and telephone, our weekly Tam Tam gathering and various lunch presentations.

Internships in the field
In our program countries, War Child works mostly with local interns. Because they speak the language and know about local structures and habits. We think that when our work is done and War Child shifts focus toward other conflict affected areas, it’s important that knowledge and experience are conserved in the program countries. That’s why we almost exclusively work with local interns.
